To the Honourable the President and Members of the Legislative Council in Parliament assembled - Petitioners (Citizens of Tasmania) draw to the attention of the Legislative Council the critical shortage of speech and language pathologist positions within the Education Department statewide. Your Petitioners, therefore, request the Legislative Council to call on the Government to urgently address speech and language pathologist staff shortages in Tasmania through implementation of staff recruitment and retention packages, including but not limited to pay parity with the Health Department and other States.
