Tasmanian Citizens draw to the attention of the House the current construction of the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment (Fire-Fighters) legislation in drawing a distinction between career fire-fighters and volunteer and retained fire-fighters is both unfair and discriminatory. Your petitioners therefore request the House to use the forms of the Parliament to review the number of 'exposures' to ensure equality for all fire-fighters -career, retained volunteer and volunteer.
